Saengerfest’s Gift of Song to MUSE

25 April 2010
3:00 PM

The Paul W. Wiggin Gift of Song Scholarship was created by MUSE Inc. in May 2009 to benefit a seminarian who has an interest in music and service. Auditions were held in the fall and the first scholarship was awarded to DMin Candidate, Martell Spagnolo, in November 2009. MUSE Inc. stands for Music Serving Elders and is in the process of deepening its relationship with Andover Newton Theological School. On Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM there will be a special concert to raise funds for the Gift of Song Scholarship at the Newton Presbyterian Church, 75 Vernon Street: Saengerfest’s Gift of Song to MUSE. This concert will feature the wonderful Saengerfest Men’s Chorus and special guests, including MUSE founder, Paul W. Wiggin and Tim Borchers, tenors. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds will benefit the scholarship. Tickets may be ordered by calling MUSE treasurer, Jane Mansfield, at 508-358-7962. Please state clearly your name, your telephone number, the number of tickets you want and that you are ordering tickets for the Saengerfest Gift of Song to MUSE Concert. Tickets will also be available at the door and available from clicking here to pay by Paypal. To see more about the Saengerfest Men’s Chorus, visit their Website at: www.saengerfest.org.
